Wanderlust

183532-i-haven-t-been-everywhere-bit-it-s-on-my-listIf someone were to ask me what my dream job was I’d say either an interior designer (move over, Joanna Gaines) or something where I could travel. Maybe a photographer? Maybe a travel blogger? Who knows exactly, but if I could travel (and get paid for it!), sign me up! My wanderlust list is very long and it seems to always be growing. Here are a few places towards the top of that list:

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERANantucket// I’ve fallen in love with Nantucket from reading Elin Hilderbrand books. I would love to ride a bike down the quaint little main street and relax on the beach under a huge umbrella–the umbrella is vital because I am extremely pale and sunburn easily.

austria

Austria// Every image I’ve seen of Austria is gorgeous. I am so jealous of the people who basically get to live inside of a postcard. I’d love to visit one of those small villages that sits right below some rolling green hills. I’d probably never come back.

banff

Banff National Park// I am not an outdoorsy person but love to hike and enjoy nature (if there are no bugs). I first saw Banff National Park, which is located in the province of Alberta,  on an episode of The Bachelorette and I was the heart eyes emoji. It’s stunning! Although the fall colors would be beyond beautiful, I’d prefer to go in the summer when the trees are lush and the water is sparkling.

charleston

Charleston// I love old cities and fell in love with Charleston because of the houses. I mean, c’mon, a place where pink houses aren’t questioned and fit in perfectly? Yes, please! I’d be happy to travel to Charleston just to go on a bunch of home tours. I’d probably hit up Savannah on the same trip because that’s an easy drive from Charleston!

London// I flew through London during my trips to Zambia. Tlondonhe layovers were a decent enough length where we were able to leave the airport and explore for a few hours. We saw the London Eye, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey… you know, the super touristy things. These few hours were definitely not enough time for me though. Also, I am obsessed with all things Royals (I firmly believe Kate and I would be BFFs), so I am sure I’d hit up all the places where I’d run into them ;).

Where would you live to visit?

  1. I made my dream come true and just booked a vacation to Uzbekistan. It is the pearl of islamic architecture and I really want to see it.

I have been to 74 countries already, have seen the big must sees already, now it’s time to think outside the box.

In case you need food for your Wanderlust, you can take a peek at my travel blog. http://www.miles-away.blog

I hope you get to go to all your mentioned places.
