Press Play

I can’t even tell you the last time I listened to my iTunes music because of Spotify (best $10 a month I spend!) but I was inspired by one of my sister’s latest posts to load up my iTunes app, press random, and hit the play button. Here are the first ten gems (of 2452 in my iTunes library) that I got to listen to:

“I Miss You” by Blink 182: This one made me chuckle. Michael and I went to see them play last fall and I was curious as to what the crowd would be like because, you know, Blink 182 was super popular when we were around middle school age. Let’s just say most still acted like they were in middle school. 😉

“Tool Sheds and Hot Tubs” by Straylight Run: We were all about Straylight Run during senior year of high school!

“Here We Go” by Joshua Radin: If anyone ever asks who my favorite artist is, it takes me all but 2 seconds to say this name.

“God Put a Smile on Your Face” by Coldplay: I hate Coldplay; why do I have any of their songs?!

“Dear Maria, Count Me in” by All Time Low: I forgot about this one! It’ll be added to my RUN playlist on Spotify!

“I’m Ready” by Jack’s Mannequin: Another total high school song. I was all about Jack’s Mannequin (and of course, Something Corporate).

“There You’ll Be” by Faith Hill: Pearl Harbor is playing in my head right now!

“Wonderwall” by Oasis: This one is still good!

“On the Way Down” by Ryan Cabrera: If this doesn’t say 2000s, I don’t know what does!

“Mr. Carter” by Lil Wayne: HA! Totally one we listened to in college and only complete with Steph’s sing-a-long version.

This was fun! I love that you can hear a song and be transported back to a particular place/time. I am also glad nothing TOO embarrassing popped up! What kind of stuff is on your old iPod/iTunes?!
